Terms of Service

Last updated: July 29, 2026

This page is maintained by the HypeCam team and describes the terms that govern use of the service. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice — hosts should review their own obligations with counsel where relevant.

  1. 1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an event, joining an event as a guest, or otherwise using HypeCam, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

  2. 2. Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for anything that happens under your account. Keep your credentials safe. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

  3. 3. Events & host responsibilities

As an event host, you decide who receives the QR code and joins your event. You're responsible for ensuring guests understand that photos taken during the event will appear in the shared gallery, and for complying with local laws about photography, consent, and minors.

  4. 4. Guest content

Guests own the photos and clips they capture. By uploading content to an event, guests grant the event host and other participants the right to view, download, and share that content within the event gallery. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display content solely to operate the service.

  5. 5. Acceptable use

Don't upload content that's illegal, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone else's rights. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service. We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

  6. 6. AI features

Features like AI Party Crashers, photo missions, and highlight reels use automated processing to modify, generate, or select images. Output may be imperfect. You're responsible for reviewing AI-assisted content before sharing it outside the event.

  7. 7. Payments & refunds

Paid events are billed per event at the price shown at checkout. Unless required by law, event fees are non-refundable once the event has started or content has been captured. Contact support for billing questions.

  8. 8. Service availability

HypeCam is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work hard to keep the service reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and outages happen.

  9. 9. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, for non-payment, or to comply with legal requirements.

  10. 10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HypeCam and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

  11. 11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

  12. 12. Contact
